FRC Team 2996

Overview

First Robotics Competition (FRC) is a competition for high school students to compete in. Each year, game rules are released, and students design and build a robot to compete within the game.

I was responsible for developing the code to drive the robot. This included drivetrain, vision, end-effectors. Alongside my team, we delivered a robot on time that could maneuver and manipulate large game objects in its environment, both autonomously and via remote control.

We won our local competitions and competed in the world championships.

Objective: Develop code to drive and manage all robot capabilities, both autonomously and through direct control.

Highlights: Using code I wrote, our team went to compete in worlds, held in Saint Louis, MS.

Role: Lead software developer

Technologies: LabVIEW

Outcome

Robot was able to perform all necessary functions to compete in competitions, with minimal failure.
